    Italian recipes

Pasta is a central part of Italian food, and you'll definitely find some pasta recipes here. But Italian recipes are much more varied than that, too (and I don't just mean pizza).

Despite it's relatively small size, Italy has a great diversity of cuisines, from more seafood-heavy along the coast and on the islands, and heartier fare inland. You'll find a mix of recipes here, primarily classics although a few with the odd twists.

If you're looking for quick pasta recipes, why not try pasta puttanesca or Sardinian fregola with clams. Try your hand at homemade pasta, such as crab ravioli, spinach pasta or classic tortellini in brodo.

If you want a quick main, why not try swordfish with olives and capers. Or for slower-cooking comfort food, try pumpkin risotto or maiale al latte (milk braised pork).

You'l also find some classic desserts with a twist, like peach panna cotta and strawberry tiramisu. Enjoy!
