Great recipe! I made this in a large batch for a beet cooking competition and it was a hit. I cut down on the simple syrup and added Lemoncello; I also used Antica Carpano sweet vermouth and added orange bitters. I did not use egg whites. I shook it over ice in a cocktail shaker and poured in a cocktail glass. Very good! Thank you.
