So, I believe I prepared the chicken by making a simple marinade with olive oil, lemon juice, crushed garlic and paprika - not strictly a recipe but relatively Spanish flavors. Leave an hour or overnight, then roast in the oven (around 200C/400F) until the chicken is cooked through, timing depending on the cut you have, but roughly 20 min if boneless, 40min if on bone thighs. Then the potatoes are simply peeled, sliced and pan fried in olive oil. Roasted would also be great, too.
