I work at a Swedish cafe and this was extremely similar to the kladdkaka at the cafe! Very tasty dessert that was super quick and easy to make!

In reply to Nina. Appreciate the suggestions! Yes, I can see limited stirring helping. I know some people like to flour/dust with breadcrumbs when making cakes, to help them release, but I find this one is rich enough that it doesn't tend to stick, and saves having any residual flour/breadcrumbs on the outside.

Tip from a swede: you want to stir the batter as little as possible; stir the ingredients so they just come together, the sloppier the better. This will make sure the cake is compact and sticky inside (not spongy), and the crust is crispy. 1/2 tsp salt is preferred. I usually dust the greased cake tin with flour or breadcrumbs before adding the batter. If you like a strong chocolate flavor you could melt a little dark chocolate with the butter.
